CLT ACID or 5-Amino-2-chlorotoluene-4-sulfonic acid is an organic compound with the chemical formula C7H8ClNO3S. It is a white crystalline powder that is used as an intermediate in the production of dyes and pigments. It can be prepared by the reaction of 5-amino toluene-4-sulfonic acid with chlorine.
